    Mission: Working with cross-functional global and regional teams, you support the CLIF Bar portfolio strategy that aligns with the category vision to drive sustainable brand growth and to deliver business objectives. You support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives.

    Location: This is a hybrid position based at our East Hanover, NJ HQ office with in-office expectations of minimum 2 days per week.

    Responsibilities & Outcomes:

    Build brand to drive penetration and share of market growth:

    • Balance needs of consumer, shopper & customer to create clear, go-forward strategies for CLIF brand including delivering a clear positioning for the brand

    • Translate strategy to execution via marketing excellence in purposeful creative and media development and activation

    • Influence and guide innovation agenda

    • Lead and deliver annual planning & functional strategy. Own P&L and delivery of Annual Growth Goals

    • Deliver commercial plans on commercial planning timelines, underpinned by robust insights

    Execute commercial and marketing activation agenda:

    • Partner across the organization to inspire, influence, and support execution of strategy for channels, licensing, foodservice, shopper marketing, omni & in-store

    • Design and deliver renovation plan and execute price/pack architecture excellence

    • Execute Integrated Marketing plan, PR, Purpose & Design plans; improve marketing ROI & effectiveness

    • Partner with R&D to champion brand quality and ensure active monitoring and remedy plans

    Drive team culture and develop pipeline of future leaders:

    • Ongoing team engagement & 1:1 coaching and engagement to understand team member progress

    • Lead marketing community beyond immediate team

    • Communicating effectively, verbally and when presenting

    • Growth modelling tools, including consumer demand spaces, market and competitive analytics and financial reporting tools

    More about this role

    Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field required, MBA preferred.

    Job specific requirements:

    • 5+ years of progressive experience in Brand Management, working with large CPG brands (revenue of $100MM+)

    • Creative and innovative mindset, ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo

    • Demonstrated understanding of the retail landscape/working with retail accounts (partnership, joint business value creation, etc.

    Travel requirements: Approx. 3-4 business trips per year

    Work schedule: This is a full-time, hybrid role based in East Hanover, NJ with in-office expectations of minimum 2 days per week.
