In this exciting role as a Senior Clinical IT Developer you will have primary focus responsibility to support diabetes clinical research efforts in a data rich environment by using programming and analysis. BioInformatics in this position is related to extracting, arranging, analyzing and presenting clinical data from medical devices and case report forms.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Design,development, evaluation and modification of computer programs to analyzeand evaluate clinical data
Identifyinconsistencies and proactively resolve data problems
Leadsplanning and coordination of programming for database manipulations,transfer and analysis of data for internal and external clients.
Workwith databases (i.e. Oracle, CSV from multiple studies or sources).
Actsas liaison between clinical management, subcommittees, and project teamson an as-needed basis.
Interactswith Data Management and Biostatistics staff to negotiate timelines,responsibilities, and deliverables.
Providesguidance to less senior staff, in industry best practices, departmentalprocedures and developing technical expertise.
Assistsin developing, revising, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures andWork Instructions.
Worksindependently without appreciable direction
Medicaldevice data management / Data Mining / Data Analysis / Validation
Must Have (Minimum Requirements):

Niceto Have (Preferred Qualifications):
M.S/Ph.D. Computer Science, Engineering,Mathematics, Data Science
Experience using clinical data managementsystem (i.e. Oracle Clinical and SQL) and data analysis (i.e. MATLAB anddata visualization). Extensiveexperience with data mining.
Other desiredskills: ORACLE PL/ SQL ; MATLAB ; EXCEL VBA; SCRIPTING; C#;PYTHON
Advanced programming skillset. Capable ofimport and export functionality using programming tools / applications from various external sources
Experience in medical device
Solid understanding of clinical device/drug developmentprocess
Excellentorganizational, interpersonal, communication, and technical databaseskills are essential.
Demonstrated problem-solving anddecision-making skills
Strong preference to local candidates
