    SUMMARY

    The Senior Commercial Banker manages and grows a large and complex portfolio of middle market businesses with revenues ranging from $15 million to $1 billion. Prospects for new business while retaining and expanding existing customer relationships. Works closely with portfolio management team to manage loan and portfolio credit quality. Provides financial advice to customers and recommends appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients and makes appropriate referrals.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Expands existing client relationships to generate incremental revenue for the bank

    • Develops and grow new client relationships.

    • Works with the Market Management and Underwriters to analyze the credit strengths and weaknesses of prospective borrowers and make loan decision recommendations.

    • Maintains a thorough knowledge of bank's lending policies and regulatory requirements.

    • Coordinates deal team meetings between Relationship Manager, Market President, Senior Credit Officer, and Underwriter

    • Builds and maintains a portfolio mix of targeted high value and high potential clients.

    • Works closely with the market's Treasury Management associates to provide deposit and treasury solutions to clients.

    • Performs all other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:

    • Bachelor (4-year college) degree 4-6 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

    COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS

    • Microsoft Office suite
