    Position Overview:

    Seeking a dynamic, experienced pricing professional with strong commercial skills, business acumen, analytical aptitude, and demonstrated success driving price and margin improvement across Stanley Security. The ideal candidate will work with the Global Pricing Leader and Business Unit Stakeholders and will have a high level of comfort with all levels of the organization to communicate new concepts and strategies.

    As Sr. Pricing Manager, you will be accountable for identifying and leading pricing improvement activities including hands-on data analysis, price strategy, margin improvement, price effectiveness and capability needs of the organization

    Responsibilities & Expectations:

    • Identify, develop and implement profitability improvement projects, dashboards, or decision-making tools to drive targeted value.

    • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in building revenue and margin growth strategies.

    • Assist in the design of the pricing systems and architecture to optimize processes that support price execution leveraging Best Practices.

    • Provide support and assist in the implementation of Advanced Analytics projects.

    • Support development and implementation of solutions designed to deliver process productivity and/or analytical capabilities to SBD business units

    • Review existing SBD policies, standard operating procedures, and guidebooks and drafting and maintaining updated versions based on lessons learned, changes to the policy, and industry standards and guidance

    • Improve the amount and quality of data available for fact-based decision-making to include the ability to track and measure the performance of decisions

    • Independently develop new Excel models, charts/graphs and procedures as necessary

    • Perform other duties as assigned, including ad-hoc analysis on methods to optimize price through market and pricing strategies

    • Well-developed understanding of pricing management concepts with proven ability to carefully and logically assess risks, benefits and alternatives

    • Demonstrated ability to make informed and logical decisions quickly and effectively in addition to communicating justification and risk assessment.

    • Ability to quickly grasp and understand unique and complex request requirements that need to be resolved in a short period of time in a highly competitive environment.

    • Ability to work independently, or in groups, as the lead participant as the business/configuration, configuration specialists, and with vendors and/or subject matter experts in cross-functional teams

    • Ability to take on complex assignments as the lead, and assume increasingly greater leadership roles/responsibilities

    • Willingness to travel



    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or technical/ related.

    • 5+ years of work experience in Pricing, Marketing, or Commercial roles, and/or executive leadership with strategic and commercial decisions


    • Master's Degree

    • Leadership experience

    • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

    • Excellent interpersonal communications skills; ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with end-users, peers, management and third parties

    • Demonstrates advanced process improvement/configuration/analytical skills

    • Excellent facilitation skills working with both internal and external parties

    • Strong verbal and written communications skills, articulate, speaks, and writes English well

    • Self-starter, comfortable working in a busy and dynamic environment with competing priorities

    • Excellent time management skills

    • Detail-oriented and thorough

    • Experience with activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.

    • Experience with formal quality systems, such as Lean and Six Sigma

    • Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation and follow-through

    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, in addition to written and oral communication skills

    • Strong Microsoft Office skills

    • Must be able to work in a team and as an individual contributor

    • Ability to manage key stakeholder relationship
