  • ADP is hiring a Director Strategic Planning role that will provide support in our sales and client retention efforts. Has accountability and responsibility to meet or exceed business performance goals, focused in the areas of sales, client retention, client experience. Provides continual communication on the status of key activities related to the role with senior leaders, sales, service, operations and other parts of ADP to ensure effective support and strategy is being provided. Determine process gaps, training needs, tools needs, etc. to drive improved results. Participates in the decision-making process within the business.

    Identifies key opportunities to drive increased results based on trends, data, feedback, etc. Builds effective and lasting relationships with the sales team and partners. Ensures sales tracking data is accurate and current. Identifies key sales successes and creates/maintains sales success stories. Partners with service leaders on client retention strategy including identifying clients at risk, delivering demo's and value prop presentations to at-risk clients and/or clients who have provided a term notification.

    Prepares and maintains various statistical reports. Proactively monitors and analyzes performance statistics and initiates actions to ensure business goals are met achieved. Identifies service associate and sales team training needs and works with the training department to help develop and ensure effective delivery and understanding. Creates and participates in a high-performance team environment

    Other assignments may include participation in projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished. May include developing, revising, and implementation of business requirements/process documents for the business unit's initiatives. Effective verbal / written communication and presentation skills are required along with the ability to collaborate with peers and leaders and serve as a liaison to other ADP internal partners.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Communications: Ability to communicate complex information and key messages to prospects, clients, internal partners and all levels of the organization. Ability to work effectively with people at all levels across the organization.

    • Results Driven: Solid understanding of business goals and objectives and the ability to define key actions needed to drive those results

    • Prepare and Deliver Presentations: Ability to independently prepare and deliver presentations for prospects, clients, business partners, and senior ADP leaders. Represent ADP as a subject matter expert in the area of Wage Garnishments.

    • Collaborating with all internal resources at all levels/ across borders to achieve shared goals and exceed expectations

    • Analytics : Effectively strategizing with internal partners on best approach and plan for closing new sales opportunities and retaining existing clients. Accurate and timely tracking of deal status/results critical

    • Escalations: Use sound judgment to escalate client concerns or other issues that may require the intervention of a leader or ADP partners. In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who is able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to simplify and solve problems quickly.

    • Partner with other ADP business units : Serves as a liaison with other business partners in order to gather, analyze and develop strategies for retaining clients/avoid clients becoming at risk, closing existing deals, training needs, etc., Builds and fosters effective relationships, with particular emphasis on inspiring and positively influencing team members.

    • Other Duties: Performs special projects and other duties as assigned. Participate in task forces, strategic initiatives, stretch assignments and collaboration opportunities, as needed.

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience

    • At least 10 years of experience, 2-4 years of related experience

    • Knowledge of Payroll/Garnishments, pay systems is a plus
