    About the role:

    Establishes and maintains the general accounting reporting and practices for the organization. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare and/or review necessary journal entries for properly stated ledgers and financial statements in accordance with regulations (e.g., GAAP) and company policy. May perform bookkeeping or account management duties. Includes accounts payable, cost accounting, cash management and Controllers responsible for only accounting.

    Within your role, you will:

    As a member of the Videojet Corporate Accounting team, you will assist with:

    • Month-end closing process for North America, including journal entries and account analyses

    • Collaborate with the other departments to support journal entry preparation

    • Monthly/quarterly/annual reporting to management and parent company, including consolidated financial statements and various schedules/statistics

    • Prepare monthly account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts

    • Manage Fixed Asset Requests and Lease Tracking system

    • Assist with SOX testing and other compliance activities

    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Organized with attention to detail.

    • Team-Oriented

    • Efficient and able to meet deadlines.

    • Advanced Excel skills

    • Minimum 2 yrs. of professional accounting experience

    • Experience in a Manufacturing environment a plus

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

    • Up to date on latest technical accounting pronouncements

    • CPA Preferred

    This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
