    As a part of the Marketplace Product team, you will play a key role in the development and expansion of our global marketplace platform. You will work with a team of product managers and business-minded individuals to develop key capabilities needed to support the future growth of the Walmart portfolio. Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will play an important role in the company's success, with a huge opportunity for personal and professional growth.     What you'll do

    As Data Privacy Product Manager for the Marketplace Platform, you will be responsible for the data privacy strategy and roadmap for the multi-market platform. You will keep abreast of rapidly developing trends in global data privacy, assess ing and communicat ing across the team on topics such as artificial intelligence, LLMs, data security, and compliance laws and regulations. You will i dentify, design, and implement processes that support and keep pace with product innovations while ensuring compliance and internal risk tolerance. You will also work with the organization to develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative ways and build processes for scaling flexible solutions that address risk.

    As a Staff Product Manager, you should be skilled at engaging and communicating with senior executives across multiple domains, as well as working closely across product management, engineering, strategy, design and business teams.

    • You have experience as a Product Manager building and managing products in the Privacy, Legal, Infosec or Consumer/Seller Data space, preferably in large scale or fast-paced environments

    • You have a deep understanding of data security and data privacy concepts, technologies, and industry trends including data protection, intellectual property, regulatory, and consumer protection

    • You have in-depth knowledge of consumer data privacy laws and regulations in multiple countries such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the American Data Privacy and Protection Act (ADPPA) and the California Delete Act

    You'll make an impact by:

    • Creating a data privacy product strategy - vision and leadership to guide cross-functional teams in delivering products that exceed user expectations and drive business success

    • Driving end to end ownership - Manage applicable system solutions for new features and ensure end to end ownership of solutions by working with relevant cross-functional groups including Data science and engineering teams

    • Leading product initiatives - Ensure critical business issues and core product strategies are addressed in product decisions; drive process changes based on feedback; drive resource allocation decisions; and set the standard for Product Manager deliverables

    • Working cross-functionally and across multiple locations - Communication, collaboration, and organization are key to your success. Work with cross-functional teams to translate the product strategy into a product roadmap and engineering sprints

    • Collaborate cross-functionally across the company at every level to identify and address product, regulatory, privacy, and other legal risks and mitigations

    • Become a subject matter expert on the content of and ongoing development of data privacy rights regulations such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the American Data Privacy and Protection Act (ADPPA) and the California Delete Act

    Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities.     The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

    Minimum Qualifications...

    Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
