    What You Can Expect

    Field and region-based managers responsible for the overall management of Health Care Professional ("HCP") consultant and surgeon relationships. This includes, but is not limited to, developing and maintaining trust and relationships with current consultants, identifying potential consultants, developing relationships with residents and fellows, onboarding consultants, and managing the ongoing development and utilization of consultants in the context of Zimmer Biomet's corporate compliance program.

    How You'll Create Impact

    • Builds trust and owns the relationship between HCPs (surgeons, fellows, and residents) and Zimmer Biomet across corporate functions and serves as the initial point-of-contact

    • Collaborates with team members on the planning and ongoing engagement of surgeon consultants

    • Drives accountability to plans for surgeon consultants

    • Coordinates and executes recurring meetings with surgeons (existing and potential consultants) at institutions in designated region and documents all activity

    • Identifies potential consultants from bona fide business needs and utilizes standardized criteria. Deploys various activities to conduct further discovery and qualify

    • Builds relationships with resident and fellowship directors in designated region and works closely with programs and team members to build and promote educational programs

    • Executes on strategy to manage surgeon career progression (i.e. resident to fellow, fellow to practicing)

    • Manages and supports contracting process with surgeons handling questions and concerns

    • Evaluates effectiveness of surgeon consultants at events and coaches, where appropriate

    • Validates, onboards, and audits surgeon-to-surgeon visitation program

    • Communicates regularly with surgeon consultants to identify needs, areas of interest, and development opportunities

    • Maintains surgeon database and pertinent files

    • Provides exceptional service and support for surgeons and surgeon consultants

    • Acts as credible, influential and respected spokesperson for Zimmer on HCP issues

    • Processes issues in conjunction with Zimmer's Global Products Group, Compliance Office and Legal Department requiring special intervention and analysis

    Your Background

    • Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of 5 years experience in the medical device orthopedic industry

    • Medical device sales experience in orthopedics

    Travel Expectations

    • Up to 60%
