    This individual should be a highly motivated leader who brings a proven track record in handling the continually maturing global sustainability compliance requirements. In this role you will also build our organizational capabilities in addressing the future sustainability demands and support the shifts that could be required in the work of our product and program teams to address those demands.

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a Sustainability Program Manager responsible for building our sustainability procedures and capabilities while working across segments and strategic external stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving collaboration with products segments and key strategic programs. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with the company's values and goals. A key objective of this role will be meeting the current and future required sustainability expectations.

    Essential Functions:

    • In alignment with the company-wide rules governing sustainability, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability principles into business operations, product development, and decision-making processes.

    • Conduct regular assessments of procedures and processes and identify areas for improvement.

    • Lead initiatives and ensure right participation in strategy reviews, Circular 145 compliance , EU Taxonomy, and Corporate Social Responsibility Directive.

    • Monitor regulatory developments related to sustainability and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

    • Engage with stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and community organizations, to promote awareness of sustainability issues and cultivate collaboration on sustainability initiatives.

    • Track and report key sustainability metrics to internal and external stakeholders, including executive management, and regulatory agencies.

    • Stay informed and active with emerging trends and best practices in sustainability, such as with Green Software Foundation and ISO Standards, and incorporate new insights and technologies into the company's sustainability efforts.

    Skills and Abilities Required:

    • Working across a matrix organization in a global team environment set up.

    • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives.

    • Excellent project management skills and quality outcomes delivery.

    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to sustainability performance.

    • Have meticulous attention to detail, project planning, and organizational skills.

    • Knowledge of PLM and/or Siemens DI SW strategy and product portfolio desired.

    • Easy to work with and can build positive relationships with a broad set of stakeholders that have diverse interests.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to optimally engage and influence global stakeholders and executives across the organization and other Business Units.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sustainability management, preferably in the software of technology industry.

    • Strong understanding of environmental issues, sustainability principles, and corporate social responsibility.

    • Proven track record of inspiring change and crafting a culture of sustainability within an organization.

    • Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks.

    • Certification in sustainability (e.g., LEED, CSR) is desirable.

    Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

    • Normal office environment or virtual work environment.

    • Up to approximately 25% travel may be required.

    The salary range for this position is $99,000 to $178,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
