    Position Summary

    The Talent Engagement Director supports SolomonEdwards' Business Consulting practice and reports to the VP, Talent Acquisition. The ultimate goal is to develop and maintain a diverse pool of qualified and capable consultants spanning multiple practice areas for our West Region who are available for engagement opportunities. In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Directors the Talent Engagement Director will be responsible for overseeing the availability, tracking, and reporting of the West Region's identified talent pipeline.

    Travel Requirements

    Some travel (<25%) is required both regionally and nationally to meet with clients, attend required SEG business meetings, and attend conferences, seminars, job fairs, campus recruiting, and other business events.

    Responsibilities

    Talent Acquisition

    This position will be responsible for identifying and engaging top-tier consultants, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and ensuring the success of our consulting projects. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for building strong relationships. Devise and implement strategies to enhance the overall engagement of our consultant community. Work with the Talent Acquisition team to match consultants with suitable projects based on their skills, experience, and project needs. Effectively articulate the selling points of working for SolomonEdwards and have a strong understanding of the qualities that make a successful consultant. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Provide insights into recruiting trends and sourcing strategies specific to the San Francisco and other western region markets.

    Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

    Use market insights to enhance the competitiveness of our consultant engagement strategies

    • Supply a well-established pool of accounting and finance professionals for SolomonEdwards' consulting opportunities.

    • Obtain and track sourcing targets based on market changes identified through candidate engagement, networking activities, and industry news.

    • Manage referral and inquiry communication and establish candidate relationships and activities (i.e. website messages).

    • Partner with the TA team to maintain consistent communication with recruited candidates identified for the SolomonEdwards network and document updates, changes, and skills in the ATS.

    • Oversee celebratory dates for active consultants such as birthdays and anniversaries.

    Project Management

    Participate in all West Region functions for Talent Acquisition activities. Assist the Talent Acquisition Directors with profile development and customization on client-defined formats. Support the talent Acquisition Directors with Consultant end-of-engagement wrap-up calls and documentation. Partner with Talent Acquisition, Client Relationship Management, Delivery, and Resource Management for end-of-engagement debriefs meetings to collect, score, and track project outcomes. Lead virtual and onsite event planning for consulting talent according to a predetermined schedule.

    Track all initiatives and generate regular reports for management and stakeholders with status updates, dependencies, and issues identified. Define and monitor quality standards for account requirements and implement quality control processes. Strategize with the team about consultant and talent acquisition challenges and provide creative solutions to internal and external obstacles.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Collaborate with Sales, client delivery teams, and Resource Management to ensure alignment and delivery quality between sales efforts and company capabilities. Provide valuable input to product/service development based on client feedback and market trends.

    Experience Required

    7+ years of accounting and finance recruiting in a professional services or consulting organization. Experience managing internal projects.

    Experience Preferred

    Experience in a Big 4 or strategy firm client delivery role is highly desired. PMP certification a significant plus.

    Demonstrates conceptual understanding of business transformation, accounting and finance, mergers and acquisitions, governance, regulatory compliance, technology enablement, and human capital services.

    Demonstrates knowledge of competitors' strengths and weaknesses to communicate SolomonEdwards' competitive edge effectively.

    Strong understanding of industry-specific market dynamics, client needs, and competitive landscape.

    Proficiency in using ATS software and recruiting tools.

    Education Preferred

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in business, human resources, administration, psychology, or otherwise related area of specialty.

    Salary range $150,000-200,000 W2. Plus, per diem and expenses paid. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
