    Position Summary

    Embark on a transformative career journey as a Technical Accounting/SEC Reporting Manager. We are seeking a candidate with experience in technical accounting. The role requires expertise in major ERP systems and a preference for an active or inactive CPA. The preferred candidate will exhibit a strong grasp of US GAAP, excelling in financial reporting, and coordinating the preparation of critical SEC reports. Exceptional communication skills, a proactive approach to deadlines, and adept organizational skills are paramount.     Essential Duties

    • US GAAP Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), focusing on financial reporting and actively participating in the coordination and preparation of key regulatory documents such as quarterly reports (10-Q), annual reports (10-K), and current reports (8-K).

    • Effective Communication: Exhibit excellent communication skills, with a particular emphasis on written communication and relationship building. Ensure clear and concise communication in financial reporting and coordination efforts.

    • Deadline Management and Initiative: Take ownership of deadlines, proactively initiate tasks, and accomplish work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports.

    • Organizational Agility: Display exceptional organizational skills, showcasing flexibility in the face of change, and embodying a natural instinct for cooperative communication. Foster a collaborative environment within the team.

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Utilize strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to facilitate efficient and accurate preparation of financial reports and related documents.

    • End-to-End Process Orientation: Demonstrate an excellent end-to-end process orientation, combining analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Address issues promptly and take ownership of outcomes in the financial reporting process.

    • IFRS Familiarity (Desired): While not mandatory, familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is desired, contributing to a broader understanding of global financial practices.

    • International Exposure: Candidates with international exposure are preferred, highlighting a potential understanding of diverse financial landscapes and contributing to the organization's global perspective

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.

    • 5 - 15 years of experience in accounting at a business or Big 4 public accounting/audit firm supporting similar sized companies.

    • Experience using major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).

    • CPA (active or inactive) is preferred.

    Travel Requirements: As needed to meet service-level requirements and for required business meetings

    Salary range $50-90/hr on W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
