    Position Summary

    As a Training Specialist, you will partner with the Training & Learning Manager on various training development projects. This role is responsible for coordinating site training initiatives and objectives, including hourly and salaried workforce training and the development, design, and facilitation of factory training programs and materials. You will work on different training resources that include photographs, transcripts, and video software to supply teams with the most related trainings needed. You will work with different levels within the factory to implement and facilitate trainings. This role will require some travel to other factory locations for training purposes.

    • Create and update training documentation leveraging relevant instructional design methodologies

    • Secure resources for scheduled New Employee Orientation (NEO) and facilitate the schedule within the factory

    • Support and partner with project teams for the development, documentation and data management of work instructions, standards and training for new equipment, external vendor training, and systems

    • Collaborates throughout the facility to build skill competency definitions, evaluations and methods of tracking competencies achieved within job roles

    • Partner with Training & Learning Manager on various learning projects and initiatives driving skill and knowledge development to deliver business results as a learning organization

    • Improve, update, and maintain record keeping systems that provides relevant information concerning training content, activities, attendance, and evaluation for both classroom and learning engagement

    • Develop and deliver classroom/online/virtual training with an emphasis on our 70-20-10 learning principles using appropriate modes, methods, and materials for the best learning venue and knowledge transfer, with skill application

    • Actively engage in and support Total Performance Management (TPM) implementation and progression in the factory

    Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Training and Development, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

    • 2+ years of training experience within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment

    The approximate pay range for this position is $55,000.00 - $87,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
