    This position will report into the US Medical Immunology team which is a segment of the Medical Specialty Care organization.

    Our Medical function serves as a valued strategic partner with Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access on therapeutic solutions to support patients' needs.     Job Description:

    There is a need for a unified US strategy on the science of the Sanofi immunology pipeline. This would ensure consistency on messaging, resources, and tactics across our immunology pipeline for priority molecules and disease areas. A US-level initiative will focus on a variety of strategic projects to support this need.

    • Single point of accountability for implementation of US Medical cross-portfolio Immunology strategy working closely with disease and molecule-specific US medical directors and Global medical directors

    • Work cross-functionally across cross-functional leadership to develop and implement pull-through of strategy across Medical, Marketing, Mkt Access/HEVA, Patient Advocacy, Research, Development, and Corporate Communication

    • Plays an integral role in building/optimizing cross-Immunology molecule and disease state US Medical Plans and Integrated Evidence Generation Plan (IEGP) in partnership with Global Medical

    • Ensure that development and execution of US Medical Scientific Committees (and other advice-seeking activities) ultimately are informing cross-molecule and disease medical plans and activities.

    • Lead the development and implementation of cross-molecule and diseases state harmonized scientific/medical resources that will provide a strategically aligned and consistent approach to field medical and clinical trial-related engagement

    • Lead synthesizing of local / regional cross-Immunology US medical insights obtained during scientific exchange with external customers and dissemination of medical insights to local and global cross functional teams.

    • Provide input for the development of training and/or medical content where necessary.

    • Develop and maintain close professional relationships with Key Thought Leaders (healthcare practitioners and researchers) within the medical and scientific community.

    About you:

    • Education : Advanced degree in a scientific discipline: MD, PhD, PharmD with specific focus in Immunology

    • Work Experience : Significant experience in Medical Affairs Pre-Launch and Life Cycle Management activities. Strong track record in developing and executing medical strategies in the US and Global.

    • Skills / knowledge:

    • Knowledge of research and clinical development.

    • Scientific acumen. In-depth understanding of the scientific method and ability to apply this information for business needs based on medical and scientific rationale.

    • Relationships and Influence. Effective internal and external stakeholder management, politically astute with strong cross-functional teamwork and collaboration.

    • Strategic thinking. Ability to disrupt status quo with innovation while remaining pragmatic and focused on priorities. Ability to translate innovative strategies or solutions into actionable plans

    • Result orientation. Driven to develop and execute optimal strategy meeting corporate objectives, while creating pragmatic solutions. Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to adapt with agility, take calculated risks and anticipate potential issues.
