    Coordinator, Brand Marketing, MTE + Action Sports (Americas)

    As the Coordinator for Brand Marketing focusing on MTE (Made of The Elements) product and Action Sports (Surf + Snow) you will coordinate the efforts across all our cross-functional teams to ensure that the product stories come to life in the most authentic way ensuring we are always showing the consumer our "Off-The-Wall" mindset. You will have day-to-day oversight of the MTE category working cross-functionally on plans for both our Surf and Snow product as well as our MTE and UltraRange product. You will work closely with our Global counterparts, our Merchandising counterparts, and the MTE category team to create regional plans to touch our Americas based consumers. You will be responsible in supporting the category for all integrated marketing needs from planning, execution, brand activations and influencer marketing.

    How You Will Make a Difference

    What you will do:

    Sample coordination and management

    You will attend footwear and apparel line reviews with team for every season both (Global and Regional)

    You will keep track of updated seasonal merchandising line plans.

    Ordering seasonal SMS samples (Footwear and Apparel); managing dedicated budget for SMS orders

    Receiving, organizing, cataloging, and storing seasonal SMS samples in the Vans warehouse; daily inventory management

    Coordinating samples from footwear and apparel for seasonal photo shoots

    Assisting producers at photo shoots for sample management and insuring proper product guidance to production teams

    Seasonal campaign execution support

    Partnering with all marketing functions (Retail Marketing, Paid Media, Organic Social, Wholesale, Vans Family, and Digital Marketing to ensure executional plans are up-to-date and on track

    Partner with Global counterparts to ensure all executional plans are on track with Global's approval

    Assist with seasonal campaign briefs including submission of briefs and working with Project Manager/Creative teams on Shot List, Asset List and Deliverables needed

    Global product marketing administrative duties

    Attendance at bi-weekly team meetings for minutes taking and distribution

    Attendance on all global calls with regional teams for minutes taking and distribution

    Partner with Merchandising team to ensure any changes in product buys, hero colorways etc. are update on all forums

    Submit and track any invoices related to photo-shoots, influencer marketing, and seeding

    Assist in keeping all Integrated Marketing Plan documents up-to-date with any changes week-to-week

    Own updating the Integrated Marketing Calendar for all MTE stories

    Attendance and organization of Americas regional team monthly meetings with Mexico and Central and South America teams

    How you will do it:

    Support Brand Marketing MTE Manger and category team on administering duties Work cross functionally with regional marketing functions, global counterparts and merchandising teams Support integration of Brand into Retail, Digital and Wholesale marketing programming as required Keep all documents organized and up-to-date with pivots and changes for cross-functional teams as resources

    Successful execution of MTE product stories Integrated Marketing Calendar is being utilized by all functions and teams needed with the most up-to-date information Seamless integration of cross-functional teams in all regional story planning Category team feels supported for MTE story execution

    Skills for Success

    Years of Related Professional Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in coordinating projects and executing marketing plans.

    Educational Position Requirements

    A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

    • What we expect you already know: Knowledge in the Action Sports industry is preferred, Microsoft Suite and Keynote proficiency, organizational skills, understanding of integrated marketing plans

    • What we will teach you: How to execute global strategy for the Americas region ensuring all marketing functions are being uplifted.

    Hiring Range :

    $60,480.00 USD - $75,600.00 USD annually

    Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
