    As a trusted collaborator to executive leadership team, the VP Corporate Strategy will provide oversight of strategy development and alignment across the organization, ensuring a strong understanding of the external environment to inform strategic decisions. This includes identifying opportunities for new ventures and enhancing the growth of existing lines of business to meet transformation and financial goals.

    The VP Corporate Strategy will create shared alignment around the vision and ensure that change efforts and execution are successful. Driving decision making that sustains organization change will be critical, as well as balancing both strategy development and execution.

    The Strategy leader will challenge the status quo and foster innovative thinking across the business, while instilling a sense of urgency to seize market opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • In partnership with the executive team, lead, communicate, and implement Sabre's strategy internally and externally so that all team members, partners, customers, and shareholders understand the strategic plan and how it aligns with company goals. Focus on monitoring progress and achieving results consistent with the strategic plan.

    • Identify, evaluate, and gain consensus for expansion of current business initiatives.

    • Develop and implement metrics to measure performance and progress towards strategic goals, ensuring that strategic actions are completed at various levels to achieve desired results.

    • Collaborate with leadership across the business to integrate and implement our strategic initiatives and ensure our plans, investments, partnerships, and affiliations are effectively executed to realize the intended outcomes.

    • Responsible for market intelligence to expand Sabre's geographic footprint beyond the existing market boundaries, including sizing and assessing markets, identifying the risk/benefits of opportunities and implications.

    • Demonstrate personal credibility with strong values and a collaborative, transparent leadership style with the ability to effectively lead projects and people - whether or not in their direct sphere of control.

    • Set strategic plan annually as part of a cycle to inform operating plans, capital and operating budgets and short and long-term organizational goals.

    • Lead/guide quarterly business reviews and information sessions to inform and align on progress across the globe

    • Bring focus and discipline to the decision-making process, using both candor and tact.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • A strategic business executive with 15+ years of experience driving strategy as a consultant and/or at a global public company

    • Experience leading strategy consulting engagements at a top tier consulting firm required.

    • Experience within a travel and/or technology-oriented business is valuable

    • Possess a strong strategy orientation and intellectual curiosity.

    • Proven leadership track record overseeing transformational changes from innovation through implementation while working collaboratively across a diverse stakeholder population to create sustained value.

    • Demonstrated strategy development and execution competence, while being comfortable working in a values-driven organization that operates at the intersection of travel and technology.

    • Proven experience in developing a strategy and driving tangible results across teams in an ambiguous environment while leveraging data from a multitude of sources to tell a story and impact the overarching strategy.

    • Knowledge of continuous quality improvement processes and the ability to apply them to varied activities.

    • A broad, creative thinker and influential collaborator who has taken big risks and learned from both failure and success.

    • Must see the issues confronting the company and the external market landscape
