    We are seeking an experienced Vice President, Head of Product to join our Outdoor Performance platform which consists of Bushnell, Blackhawk, Camp Chef, Primo, Simms Fishing, and Stone Glacier. The Outdoor Performance strategic priorities are to be consumer-first focused, lead with power brands, and invest inwards. We will build the Outdoor Performance business by creating focus and power with the consumer.

    As the Vice President, Head of Product you will bring extensive experience in product innovation and deliver scale through shared product design and development across the Outdoor Performance platform. This position will lead the product teams in four categories: Soft Goods, Hard Goods & Equipment, Outdoor Cooking, and IOT & Connected Devices. You will drive cross-functional relationships and decisions along the holistic product lifecycle for all existing and new product initiatives.

    This position reports to the President and General Manager of Outdoor Performance and is based out of Bozeman, Montana.

    As the Vice President, Head of Product, you will have an opportunity to:

    • Guide early stages of product development through the implementation stages of production and beyond.

    • Lead the innovation process from ideation, development, and implementation for new technologies, materials, and functionality in support of overall product and brand strategies.

    • Identify and establish partnerships with select technology providers and existing suppliers to complement internal development of product design and technologies.

    • Work collaboratively with the Product Management and Insights teams to develop proper research protocols to help guide the development of new products and technologies.

    • Drive standards and processes as a thought leader to improve delivery methodologies, systems, and efficiency.

    • Provide regular feedback to team members to ensure all are aligned on the vision and strategy set forth.

    • Develop and manage the annual budget to achieve business goals effectively and efficiently.

    • Partner with peers and across functions to create alignment across the organization to achieve business objectives and deliver financial results.

    • Formulate research and product development projects with a focus on innovation, quality, safety, effectiveness, and profitability.

    • Bring strong product direction balanced with approachability and curiosity.

    • Foster a creative and innovative environment, which encourages breakthrough designs and ideas.

    • Lead by example through integrity, and confidentiality, and demonstrate respect for peers and individuals throughout the organization, modeling professional behavior and alignment within the organization.

    • Driving the creation of the design strategy for the Outdoor Performance platform.

    • Developing product vision, timelines, and roadmaps to allow product development and design teams to work autonomously.

    • Working cross-functionally to define and identify defendable product differentiation across all categories.

    • Identify seasonal trend/color & concept packages across categories.

    • Oversee product lifecycle management across brands.

    You have:

    • Bachelor's Degree

    • 12+ years working in premium brands, preference for soft goods, hard goods, technical apparel, and connected devices.

    • 5+ years in a Product Development management role with responsibility for multiple departments (ideally including Product Design, Product Development, and Innovation).

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present and communicate at all levels.

    • Strong eye for forward-thinking product innovation.

    • Superior analytics and problem-solving skills.
