    Background :

    We are looking for an experienced second-line leader of a newly combined organization - this person will lead an organization of Specialist Account Executives that will focus on the sale of NetSuite for Services companies. As our NetSuite products and solutions broaden, it is impossible for the ERP sales teams alone to have a deep knowledge of all NetSuite solutions. The role of a Specialist Account Executive allows a seller to hone their skills and knowledge in a particular subject area (Field Service, Project Management, Job Costing, PSA), adding that deep subject matter expertise to the sales cycles. These Specialist Account Executives collaborate with ERP Account Executive's to sell our Field Service and Professional Services Automation (project management) software.

    The primary focus is for a second-line leader to direct, plan, manage and develop a team of 4 NetSuite Sales Manager, supporting Direct new business as well as AMO sellers. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes NetSuite's opportunities across a subset of products, product lines or services directly or via partners to small-and medium sized accounts.

    More about the Opportunity:

    • Manages a team of NetSuite Sales Managers for North America.

    • Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the division.

    • Evangelize the products under the umbrella of NetSuite for Services

    • Develops working relationships with license, consulting, education, and/or support field managers to develop joint account plans.

    • Develops and executes strategic plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize revenue with frequent guidance from the area manager or director. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff.

    • Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction.

    • Conducts sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.

    About You:

    • 3+ years in seat at NetSuite with a proven attainment record.

    • Suite VP's of Tomorrow.

    • Located in or around a Hub Office location.

    • Record of developing employees for internal promotion.

    • Degree in Business or Computer Science preferred or 7+ years sales or sales management experience.

    • Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives.

    • Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met.

    • Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.

    • Through understanding of NetSuite's products and services.

    • Ability to lead sales team in all areas of the sales cycle.

    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions.

    • Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution ability.

    Responsibilities

    Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

    US: Hiring Range: from $107,500 to $270,900 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.

    Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

    8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
