    Responsibilities

    In 2008 the United Against Violence initiative was introduced the first of its kind to be sponsored by a national nonprofit health system. CommonSpirit's approach to violence prevention uses both community-based programs public policy advocacy and provides a powerful combination of strategies that collectively make a meaningful difference in any and all forms of violence. The complexities of violence require us to take comprehensive approaches recognizing that violence is a public health issue and it is our role to address and prevent this epidemic just as we work to prevent other serious issues impacting health and wellbeing. As a violence prevention project coordinator the selected candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders perform research and present their findings to hospital leadership. An ideal candidate will have some experience with public health or social services research creating and administering surveys compiling data and building rapport in the Los Angeles community.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years experience in a professional work environment preferably healthcare setting with exposure to building rapport with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Associates degree or higher

    • AUTO:CA; FIRESAFETY -- within 90 days

    Pay Range

    $26.39 - $38.27 /hour
