  • Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a diligent and experienced individual to join our team in Edina, Minnesota as a VP/Director of Finance. This role involves overseeing our financial operations in the Americas, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial operations and reporting, and leading a diverse team. This is a short-term contract position.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the day-to-day financial operations within the Americas region, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and effective management of company resources.

    • Oversee financial reporting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP, JSOX, and other relevant standards.

    • Lead and support a team, ensuring efficiency and accountability in financial processes.

    • Collaborate closely with leadership to report financial status and implement strategic initiatives.

    • Prepare for and manage annual audits, ensuring all financial documentation is compliant and organized.

    • Oversee payroll operations and additional HR responsibilities as required.

    • Act as a utility player within the finance department, able to manage additional duties as assigned.

    • Navigate and manage the financial and operational idiosyncrasies specific to our international structure.

    • Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CapEx, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, Capital Management, Cash Flow Analysis, GAAP Accounting, Technical Accounting, J-Sox, Financial Reporting, International Financial Reporting. Requirements - Proven experience in a similar role, such as VP/Director of Finance, in a corporate environment

    • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

    • Experience with ADP - Financial Services

    • Familiarity with CapEx and Accounting Functions

    • Solid understanding and application of GAAP Accounting and Technical Accounting

    • Knowledge of J-Sox, Financial Reporting, and International Financial Reporting

    • Demonstrated skills in Auditing, Budget Processes, Capital Management, and Cash Flow Analysis

    • Ability to lead and manage a diverse team of financial professionals

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred

    • Commitment to staying updated on current regulations and trends in the finance industry

    • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
