Role reports to: Manager of Warehouse Operations

What you will do
The Warehouse Supervisor leads daily operations such as shipping and receiving, inventory control and warehouse processes operations of the Lititz site. This position is accountable for aligning departmental goals with the site objectives to achieve business goals and performance indicators. Assures compliance with regulatory, safety and environmental requirements pertinent to the warehouse operations. Leads the team using new technologies and creative warehousing processes and concepts that drive a culture of change and improvement. Also, responsible to develop to engage and develop talent as well as championing positive employee relations aligned to CREDO driven culture
Responsible for the receipt, storage and shipping of raw materials, Finished Goods and other supplies in accordance with cGMP standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.
Leads 1st shift daily warehouse operations with an emphasis on Finished Goods shipping and raw material and components receiving and storage.
Assures maintenance of warehouse facilities and equipment consistent with high quality and performance standards.
Responsible for leading all customer logistics processes guaranteeing precise execution on all outbound services according to customer's expectations & aligned to strategic objectives.
Handles customer expectations and incorporates new requirements into process prior to implementation date.
Actively seeks opportunities for improvement and evaluates incorporation onto the strategic goals.
Completes investigation and documentation of all Non-Conformance Events (Investigation Reports and Corrective/Preventive Actions.) within assigned scope.
Handles insurance aspects of products within the country, including reimbursements, claims and interactions with Regional Transportation Organization as per J&J procedures.
Collaborates in Internal and External Regulatory Compliance and Financial Audits.
Develops and/or recommends operating procedure changes, and equipment or facility alterations related to Material Management.
Supports the development of realistic Key Performance Indicators for the area of responsibility and drives monitoring, and continuous communication.
Interfaces effectively with Planning, Distribution, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Compliance, Operations, IT, and Finance to handle cross functional processes & resolve issues impacting areas of responsibility.
Supports the annual Capital & Business Plan Process under assigned scope.
Manages appropriate budget and operate within approved spending.
Trains staff in policies and procedures including areas of safety and quality. All activities are completed in a manner that protects the health and safety of all colleagues and in full compliance to all policies and procedures. Ensure training for direct reports and self is completed on time.
Mentors, coaches, and provides feedback on a frequent basis to direct reports and through execution of the 4-conversation process.
Provides on-site supervisory coverage on a rotational basis for weekend activities.
Qualifications
What are we looking for
Associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of Warehousing or Distribution Center experience in a supervisory role or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of warehousing or Distribution Center experience is required.Experience and Skills:
A minimum of two (2) years' experience in GMP environments is required
A minimum of two (2) years hands on experience with SAP - T-codes and problem solving
Previous warehousing / distribution center experience is required
Proficient in oral and written communication in the English language
Must be able to perform basic math (computational) calculations
Must be able to work on site - As a direct supervisor, remote working is not an option for this position
Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools is preferred
Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and technical writing skills are preferred
