    Responsibilities:

    The Workload Manager is responsible for the collection, coordination, and analysis of workload demand across the NAM region. As part of the NAM Performance organization, the Workload Management role is transversal, customer focused, and interfaces with various levels of local and regional leadership, the Central Organization, and a variety of teams across the region and globally. The Workload Manager will maintain a high-level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with stakeholders to maintain effectiveness and influence by delivering clear and concise messaging in all communications, follow-up and follow-though on commitments (Say/Do) and driving change management within the organization to support continuous improvement and the Alstom In Motion (AIM) business strategy.

    Job Summary

    • Drive efficiency and effectiveness in the monthly workload cadence to include streamlining/leaning out process, tools, and variances.

    • Define standards and process for workload management and clearly communicate consistently across the region.

    • Animate P&FM meetings and facilitate data consolidation used for strategic decision-making

    • Chair monthly meetings with all relevant stakeholders and provide data in a format that is usable and meaningful for resource managers and work package owners

    • Ensure consistency and accuracy of data by setting standards for workload management for NAM and clearly communicate consistent direction across the region; drive change management

    • Prepare NAM signaling for the central WL exercise by combining together all WL files (ADM, operations, factory, projects, etc.). Ensure data integrity and compliance to central formatting.

    • Review and analyze the data monthly with a view towards providing feedback to the organization on the variance month to month and what can explain the variance.

    • Automate the WL exercise so that the data is accessible in Qlicksense (or other tool) and the process for reporting and monitoring is streamlined

    • Manage Bid & Tender data to ensure quality and usability.

    • Quarterly interface with central for the S&OP exercise, ensuring that the correct opportunities are updated and loaded, the WL for existing opportunities is accurate and the central form is filled out accurately.

    • Support project and program engineering in workforce management as needed to ensure data integrity and timely inputs Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, master's degree preferred

    • 3+ years'work experience in workload management, planning and scheduling, process improvement, project management, Six Sigma, or related field

    • 3+ years' experience with project planning, project management, leading process/tool deployment, or related experience

    • Experience with analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions

    • Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team

    • Ability to influence without authority within cross-functional teams and at various levels of management

    • Maintain a high-level of integrity and confidentiality for sensitive business information Additional Qualifications

    • Experience with development, deployment, and/or use of resource/workload management tools

    • Experience with PMS

    • Six Sigma training or equivalent quality certification

    • Willing to travel up to 10% of time for business purposes

    • Sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks

    • Ability to anticipate events and develop adaptive strategies / remedies

    • Strong skills in stakeholder relationship building, facilitation, and matrix management

    • Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team / organization

    • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

    • Highly skilled using the Microsoft suite, especially Excel & PowerPoint
