Accounting Manager/Supervisor

In this Accounting Manager role with a burgeoning, innovative Medical Devices company, it will be critical for you to take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Responsibilities

• Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

• Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses

• Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines

• Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, which includes data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

• Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant

• Play key role in implementation of NetSuite Financials including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

• Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• Microsoft Excel experience highly desired

• Knowledge of financial reporting

• Month-end Close Activities experience preferred

• General ledger experience desired

• Treasury experience

• 7+ years of recent relevant financial experience

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation

• CPA or MBA preferred

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Solid technical skills
