    About One

    One Finance is a U.S. consumer financial services platform that was acquired in March 2022 by a Walmart majority-owned joint venture with Ribbit Capital. One Finance's vision is to build a category-defining, multi-product financial services app that tens of millions of consumers use for banking, payments, credit, invest, and other financial products.

    One Finance is embedded inside the Walmart ecosystem, with a vision of acquiring Walmart customers and associates by offering them the best way to pay at Walmart, the best way to get paid at Walmart, and the best way to manage their money.

    What You'll Do:

    As a Lead for One integration, you will be helping advance Walmart's financial services JV with One Finance by ensuring its product and capability suite successfully integrates and grows within the Walmart ecosystem. You will need to ensure that all functional and operational activities of One within Walmart are reflective of startup DNA and balance risk with speed and effectiveness of delivery (i.e., fast AND world-class).

    You'll make an impact by:

    • Develop and meet process project plans, identifying important dependencies and important paths to ensure all work is accomplished on time and on budget.

    • Establish major check points, goals, and key indicators to measure progress.

    • Partner with Product, Tech, Design, and other functional partners to agree on dates and deliverables, incorporating all feedback.

    • Help develop Board-ready presentations with a clear view on progress, calling out any risks and mitigation strategies.

    • Coordinate and build relationships across relevant Walmart teams to ensure continued partner support and engagement.

    • Be an expert and co-executor to any new workstreams as they emerge and pivot

    • Help One's new products and integrations solutions succeed within the parameters of Walmart, removing obstacles that could improve performance.

    • Identify anything that is not functioning efficiently or impeding operating at breakneck speed, escalating concerns to the VP where needed.

    • Balance demands for nimble processes while ensuring that we aren't exposing ourselves to excessive regulatory, compliance, or financial risks.

    You'll sweep us off our feet if:

    • You have 10+ years of experience in business ops, program management, and management consulting

    • You have experience in fintech

    • You have the Ability to set strategy, serve as a thought partner, and exhibit solid business judgement

    • You have demonstrated experience launching new businesses or working with high-growth, latest businesses inside a larger organization

    • You have led large-scale projects through influence without direct management/ownership of resources - working through multiple responsibilities and teams

    • You are a self-starter with analytical skills, able to identify problems and/or opportunities for improvement, assesses viable solutions, and develops and executes complex projects and comprehensive action plans

    • You convey a sense of urgency in ways that motivate others to complete responsibilities and achieve goals'; constant collaboration across multiple departments with senior partners.

    • You use relevant business metrics, analyses, and reports to measure, monitor, and improve performance. You identify and applies sound, fact-based criteria in setting priorities and making decisions

    • You are highly organized and self-motivated with distinctive problem-solving capabilities

    • You are able to deal tactfully, respectfully, and effectively with a diverse array of individuals; develops and communicates logical, convincing reasons, including lessons learned, to build support for one's viewpoints and actions.

    • You involve others in decisions and plans that affect them, when appropriate

    • You are equally comfortable devising strategic initiatives and operationalizing projects

    • You always learn and pivot to manage new complexities, challenges, and responsibilities.

    • You have the ability to manage and influence direct and indirect reports, and other relevant stakeholders; 'manage up', with an understanding of when to operate independently and when to rely on leadership for support and oversight.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 7 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area.

    • 3+ years' experience in Analytics, Planning, Business Management, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area

    • 1+ years of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects

    • 1+ years of senior leadership decision support and influencing experience

    • MBA

    • Fintech experience or experience integrating financial solutions into a large complex environment

    • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

    • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills

    • Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency

    Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities.     The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
