    Job Title: Project Manager

    Hiring Locations: Maryland, DC & Northern Virginia

    Reports to: VP (directly) / President and CEO

    FLSA Status: Salary / Exempt

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Provide day-to-day leadership and management in the execution of the assigned project in a manner with the mission and core values of the company.

    • Independently oversees all aspects of the assigned project through completion.

    • Independently oversees, directs, and leads risk mitigation for matters arising out of project performance.

    • Responsible for driving the project to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, collections in alignment with business goals and objectives.

    • Provides timely, accurate and complete reports to his/her VP of Project Management and the Executive Officers on the operating and financial condition of the project.

    • Must support monthly scheduled Work in Progress (WIP) meetings and complete all assigned WIP Action Items from previous month.

    • Prior to scheduled WIP meeting, prepare estimates to complete, review billings, collections, change order processing and validate job to date cost.

    • Communicates and collaborates with all internal departments: VP of Project Management, VP of Operations, Engineering, Scheduling, Contract Administration, Safety, Purchasing, Drafting and Executive team members in the performance of the project to achieve deliverables for the project within or ahead of schedule.

    • Act as a "client-care officer" through direct contact with every client and partner in connection with the assigned project.

    • Partner with Project Estimators to ensure a complete scope of work is defined, budget is understood and that all pre-construction documents are properly transitioned in our assigned project folder.

    • Monitor project budgets, material, subcontractor, rental equipment and labor costs.

    • Maintain regular communication, collaboration and planning with VP of Project Management, Project Superintendents and/or Field Foreman by spending the necessary time on assigned job sites.

    • Report and resolve employee concerns, issues and/or roadblocks as needed. If required escalate any issues to VP of Project Management or VP of Operations for suggestions, resolutions, and overall guidance.

    • Ensure job site employees maintain a safe work environment by conducting safety audits.

    • Conduct Toolbox Talks, other company training or technical training on assigned job sites as needed. Ensure Foreman and Technicians assigned to project and specific task are properly trained and certified.

    • Attend and conduct internal and external meetings as required.

    • Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead, direct, and manage project personnel. Work closely with VP of Operations for project assignments, personnel issues and/ or field training and certification requirements.

    • Communicate effectively with VP of Project Management, Controller and other ConCor support management.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • BS degree in Computer Sciences or Business Administration or Construction Management a plus.

    • Minimum of five years of direct or indirect and independent experience in managing large commercial construction projects, successfully. Includes project supervision of assigned field personnel and coordination of personnel with Operations Manager and seek supervisory support and guidance from VP of Project Management when necessary.

    • RCDD or PMP or RTPM or BICSI Certified Technician level is a plus.

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    • Direct experience with increasing expertise in Microsoft Office Word and Excel applications.

    • Direct experience with Microsoft Teams and O365 email.

    • Direct experience with financial management software in connection with project management accounting (Starbuilder, Ops Pack and Invoice Router).

    • As applicable software applications utilized in the Commercial IT contracting industry i.e. PlanGrid, PM Web, Procure, etc.

    • Must demonstrate ability to independently analyze and solve problems on a strategic and tactical level and resolve conflicts.

    • Familiarity with a wide variety of field concepts, practices, procedures and any previous "lessons learned".

    • Working knowledge of and ability to apply OSHA safety standards.

    • Must demonstrate commitment to company values and culture.

    • Must maintain a positive, team oriented approach and provide appreciative and constructive feedback.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of personnel, whether it is ConCor employees, ConCor management, government agencies, contractors, vendors, clients, subcontractors, system integrators and/or suppliers.
