    Proposal Manager Consultant

    Overview

    As a Proposal Manager Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the end-to-end process of proposal development. Collaborate with various teams, including sales, marketing, subject matter experts, and executives, to craft winning proposals that meet the needs of our clients and align with our business objectives. Your expertise in project management, communication, and strategic thinking will be essential in driving the success of our proposal efforts.

    Responsibilities

    Proposal Strategy Development

    • Work closely with the sales and executive teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored proposal strategies.

    • Conduct thorough research on client needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings to inform proposal development.

    Proposal Planning and Coordination

    • Develop detailed proposal plans outlining timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.

    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, data, and resources for proposal development.

    Content Creation and Editing

    • Write, edit, and review proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.

    • Develop compelling value propositions and narratives that effectively communicate our strengths and differentiate us from competitors.

    Quality Assurance

    • Conduct thorough reviews of proposals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to formatting and submission guidelines.

    • Implement quality control measures to enhance the overall professionalism and effectiveness of proposals.

    Client Engagement

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to proposals, providing timely and accurate responses.

    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop presentation materials and participate in client meetings as needed.

    Process Improvement

    • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the proposal development process, including the adoption of best practices, tools, and templates.

    • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on proposal management techniques and methodologies.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

    Proven experience (7 years) in proposal management, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.

    Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.

    Exceptional communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

    Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and build consensus.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software (e.g., Qvidian, Proposify, or similar tools).

    Knowledge of industry-standard proposal development processes and best practices.

    Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality, winning proposals.

    Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $106K-$138K
