    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    As the Senior Director of Management Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational efficiency and effectiveness across all levels of the organization. You will lead initiatives to optimize healthcare processes, implement innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement in patient care and service delivery.

    Position Responsibilities:

    Direct the development, implementation and ongoing management of enterprise-wide labor procedures and strategies that support organizational goals and initiatives.

    • Lead the management engineering department, setting strategic direction and priorities that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

    • Oversee the analysis, design, and implementation of process improvements and technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, IT, finance, HR and operations, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement evidence-based practices.

    • Develop and manage the budget for management engineering projects, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support strategic initiatives.

    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.

    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of process improvement initiatives, using data analytics to inform decision-making and measure success.

    • Mentor and develop the management engineering team, providing guidance and support to ensure professional growth and alignment with organizational goals.

    • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in healthcare technology, process improvement, and management engineering.

    Requirements

    Education :

    • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

    Additional Preferences

    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

    • 8-10 years of experience in management engineering, process improvement, or a related field within the healthcare industry preferred.

    • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of implementing successful process improvement initiatives.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

    • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

    • Experience with healthcare IT systems and data analytics tools.

    • Working knowledge of UKG Pro Workforce Management solution.
