  • Sr Project Accountant - Fixed Assets

    Raleigh, NC | Contract to Hire

    Description

    • Prepare General Ledger journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned.

    • Enter journal entries into accounting system. Some entries will be large uploads, intercompany and multicurrency.

    • Organize and file any paper journal entries.

    • Prepare asset and liability account reconciliations by resolving reconciling items with investigation, review of historical supporting documents, and discussion with operations controllers or others.

    • Assist Accounting Manager with various quarter end, projects, and cleanup duties.

    • Respond to ad hoc requests for information.

    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management

    Qualifications

    • BS in accounting, finance or related field

    • 3-5 years of experience within general accounting and knowledge of fixed assets

    • Workday experience preferred but not required

    • Analytical in nature
