Finance Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to our Senior Director of Accounting and Finance, the Finance Manager is a key member of the Accounting and Finance team and will be responsible for various day-to-day accounting activities while also participating in projects that help drive the growth of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Extensive communication and collaboration with President, operations executives, VP Sales and VP Finance

• Work closely with leadership to produce and present reporting materials to simplify messages and improve cross functional executive understanding of operational results

• Responsible for preparing detailed budget, forecast and outlook (monthly forecasting cycle)

• Assist in compilation and analysis of monthly financial and operational reports, including detailed comparison of actuals to forecast and prior periods

• While accounting tasks are not the primary focus of this role, the individual will assist in various internal control adherence/documentation, preparation of a few month-end journal entries and assisting the accounting department in various in ad-hoc requests

• Identify and participate in company process improvement projects

• Assists in financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures

• Work collaboratively within the team and across departments

• Assist with other miscellaneous tasks and handle special projects upon request including performing ad-hoc analysis (pricing, market analysis, production planning, etc.)
